DACU Mapping Projects

Timebankers have also been involved with some of DACU's wider work, especially with mural painting to improve neighborhood safety! Check out some of our projects at  Picacho & Tornillo, Community of Hope, and the Nevada Neighborhood.

Gallagher Park

Timebankers Shana and John met in 2017 through a shared interest in keeping Gallagher Park pesticide free. The pair have used their respective skills in organizing and advocating to unify the neighborhood to adopt the park and weed it without pesticides. Neighbors around the park come together monthly to keep the park clean, and also host fun events like Egg Hunts and Shamrock Shindigs!
