DACU is working with individuals from Amador Health Center (formerly St. Luke's Healthcare Clinic) who were previously homeless and are recently housed. These individuals work to address concerns found within the built environment of the Community of Hope and other areas in the city. 

Participants in this project have collaborated to create this storymap, participated in the City of Las Cruces's Neighborhood Leadership Academy, and painted a street mural on the Community of Hope driveway designed to slow car traffic and make the area safer for all.
